Ice caves.

Ok, so I did do something over Christmas break.
I hiked to these sweet ice caves.
And there was a monster there. I saw it before anyone else did.
So I went looking for it.
It found me first.
But! Never fear, faithless blog-fans! As in all hit daytime dramas, I came back to life.
You'll find easier prey than me, scary ice cave monster! I've got things to live for.

Who are these people I don't recognize? Everyone's bundled up and looking indistinguishable. Glad you came back to life.

Oh my gosh! Cool caves. I hope you made it out alive. I hope I get to visit those caves one day. I'm glad that those huge icicles didn't fall down and stab someone in the head. Ouch. Cool pictures. I miss you!

They're in Michigan, like 30 minutes from my house. I had never heard of them before I moved out here.

Very cool pix! I LOVE the next to last one of you getting pulled into the cave by the "monster"! Fun, fun! By the way, about the skydiving simulation . . . I'm pretty sure that our experience would be comparable to being hooked onto someone else and flying through the air, without the jumping out of the plane part. Our instructor definitely held onto us. I was kind of glad though . . . considering I almost flew out the door twice!
